This is a blog placeholder. 4/21/25
In the spirit of keeping the old internet, I felt that a blog component was necessary. I want this website and project to be informative, but the wonderful thing of this not being a formal academic space is I can also be more personal. Admittedly, I was a bit jealous of other neocities users creating more whimsical blogs and I didn't want to feel boxed into the idea of everything always being so sterile. I think in the future once I've set up more of the website and get the Youtube Channel going I'll try making this more visually appealing.
This is embarassing, but I want to read more. My annual book count remains around less than 10 books per year, usually on average 3-5. I read a considerable amount of research articles, but I don't read many novels anymore. Most recent books I've read have been nonfiction. There are also some books that sit around 1/4th in and I haven't returned to them. I have a specific type of writing style that I'd like to read more of: diaristic/epistolary works. I used to love this intimate style of writing such as in Flowers for Algernon or Dracula, but I haven't read any very recently. It's silly, but I want to read The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot. I remember being very fond of those movies, but I haven't watched them in a long time.
I've struggled to write this blog because I keep hitting the "delete" button.
